Classes focus on developing technique, strength, flexibility, musicality, and confidence while enjoying the beauty and discipline of classical ballet in a supportive and welcoming environment.
It's never too late to learn ballet
In this welcoming class we move at a gentle pace and focus on learning the basic positions of arms and feet, understanding simple ballet terminology, and becoming familiar with the structure of a ballet class.
Centre work is introduced gradually through simple movements that help dancers build confidence and musicality.
No prior experience is required, just comfortable clothing and a willingness to try something new.
Typical exercises may include:
- Introduction to the five basic positions of the feet
- Basic arm positions and simple port de bras
- Pliés and tendus at the barre

Classes build on the foundations learned at Beginner Ballet – Level 2 while introducing more challenging barre exercises and centre combinations.
Dancers continue developing strength, coordination, and confidence while expanding their ballet vocabulary in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Dancers can expect more complex centre work, turns, and allegro combinations while continuing to challenge themselves in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
